Walt Disney World’s water parks operate year-round, weather permitting, offering an array of attractions including thrilling slides, meandering lazy rivers, children-oriented water play areas, and ample relaxation spots post a bustling day at the theme parks. Whether guests opt for the tropical escapade of Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or the wintry delights of Disney’s Blizzard Beach, complete with a newly reimagined “Frozen”-themed area, the choice promises adventure.

Presently, Typhoon Lagoon remains closed until March 17th, while Blizzard Beach is open but will temporarily close for refurbishment on the same date.

This newfound benefit for Disney hotel patrons supplements existing perks such as complimentary transportation, extended theme park hours, early access to dining reservations, and more.

Visitors to the park in 2025 can anticipate an array of attractions, including the much-anticipated TRON Lightcycle Run and the imminent opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a reimagining of the former Splash Mountain attraction themed around Disney’s animated hit “Princess and The Frog.”

Those eager to capitalize on this new perk can do so immediately, as Walt Disney World theme park tickets, hotel accommodations, and vacation packages for stays between January and October 2025 are currently available for purchase. Disney has also confirmed the return of early theme park entry for Disney Resort hotel guests and extended evening hours for guests at Disney Deluxe and Villa resorts in 2025.
