Ayana Komodo Waecicu Beach has named Jean Philippe Lovotti as its new general manager. He brings 25 years of international experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong background in managing luxury and upscale hotels.
Lovotti has led hotel operations in various parts of the world. He is known for his ability to manage multiple properties, introduce sustainable renovations, and handle challenging market environments. His leadership style focuses on innovation, sustainability, and team development.
Before joining Ayana Komodo, Lovotti served as general manager at Caravelle Saigon. During his time there, he led a multi-phase renovation of the historic hotel. The project kept the hotel fully operational while modernising its facilities. Under his leadership, the hotel achieved record levels of guest satisfaction and strong financial results.
Lovotti has also held senior roles at major hotel groups including AccorHotels, Pan Pacific Hotels Group, and the Leading Hotels of the World. He has worked across Southeast Asia, the Pacific, and Europe, managing flagship properties and building cross-cultural teams.
He is recognised for promoting sustainable practices that improve hotel operations and guest experiences. His new role at Ayana Komodo is expected to enhance teamwork across Ayana’s portfolio, support the group’s environmental goals, and raise the profile of Komodo National Park as a world-class eco-luxury destination.
“I am honoured to join Ayana Komodo, a resort that highlights the natural and cultural beauty of Indonesia,” Lovotti said. “I look forward to working with the team to improve guest experiences, help local communities, and promote sustainable tourism in this remarkable location.”
