by Alice

Hilton has launched its first Tru by Hilton hotels in Vietnam. This marks the brand’s official entry into the Asia Pacific region. The launch is part of a deal between Hilton and ROX Group (formerly TNG Holdings Vietnam). Under this agreement, 14 hotels across Vietnam will be converted to the Tru by Hilton brand.

The new hotels will open in Hanoi, Ha Long, Lang Son, and Nam Dinh. They are expected to start welcoming guests before the end of 2025. After these openings, Hilton will have 28 hotels planned in Vietnam. This includes six hotels that already operate under Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Curio Collection by Hilton, and Hilton Garden Inn.

Guests can join Hilton Honors, Hilton’s global loyalty program. Members get benefits like digital check-in, room selection, and keyless room entry through the Hilton Honors mobile app.

Vietnam’s Growing Travel Market

Vietnam is one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing travel markets. In the first quarter of 2025, tourist arrivals rose by 10.5% compared to the same period last year. This shows strong recovery and increasing travel within the country.

Alan Watts, President of Hilton Asia Pacific, said, “Vietnam’s tourism outlook is improving across all segments. Tru by Hilton fills a clear gap in the market and supports Hilton’s growth in the region.”

The full Tru rollout will cover 14 cities, including Da Nang, Can Tho, Lao Cai, and Bac Giang. This expansion will bring Hilton to more secondary and smaller cities in Vietnam.

ROX Group’s CEO, Xuan Quang Tran, added, “Partnering with Hilton allows us to raise our hotel standards to international levels.”
