British tourists planning a holiday to Benidorm have been urged to stay alert. The popular Spanish resort is now busier than ever, and crime is reportedly increasing.
Frank, a resident of Spain for about 15 years who shares advice on TikTok as “Frank The Stagman,” warned that thieves are targeting visitors. He said tourists should take precautions to avoid becoming victims.
In a recent video, Frank explained that as Benidorm’s tourism grows, so does the risk of crime. He said, “Benidorm is exploding with tourists. My company is already selling trips for 2026, which shows it will only get busier.”
He described the situation as a “numbers game.” More tourists mean more criminals and petty thieves attracted by the large amount of money tourists carry.
Frank advised, “If you don’t want to lose something, don’t bring it.” He stressed that leaving valuables at home is the best way to stay safe. According to him, it is not worth risking expensive items while visiting.
By avoiding carrying costly possessions, tourists can relax and enjoy their holiday without worrying about theft. Frank encouraged visitors to follow this advice to have a safer and more enjoyable experience.
The video has received hundreds of views and sparked discussion online. Some viewers agreed that parts of Benidorm can feel unsafe, especially at night.
One comment read, “This advice applies everywhere you travel. If you show off valuables, thieves will notice. They are smart and know how to take advantage.”
