Located in the first row of each business class section, the United Polaris Studio suites will include eight seats on each aircraft. These seats are 25% larger, offering all-aisle access, lie-flat options, and privacy doors. Other amenities include an extra ottoman seat for companions, exclusive food options, Ossetra caviar service, and new luxury amenity kits in partnership with Perricone MD. The kits feature their Cold Plasma Plus+ skincare products. Additionally, passengers can charge their electronic devices wirelessly, connect via Bluetooth, and enjoy entertainment on a 27-inch OLED seatback screen. When it’s time to sleep, travelers will be provided with Saks Fifth Avenue bedding, including a duvet, day blanket, large pillow, and a cooling gel pillow.

The Boeing 787-9 aircraft will feature a new interior design called United Elevated. This design includes upscale finishes and a warmer atmosphere. The aircraft will have 99 premium seats, including United Premium Plus seats with privacy dividers. The first of these aircraft will be delivered by the end of the year and will serve international flights from San Francisco to London and Singapore. United plans to add about 30 of these aircraft to its fleet by 2030.

Onboard dining will also be upgraded. United Polaris business class customers can enjoy a new grab-and-go snack bar and mid-flight meals, including regionally inspired tapas. United Economy passengers will have three entrée options, along with new desserts and appetizer courses.

Andrew Nocella, United’s Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, said, “We already deliver a superior international experience and fly to the most destinations across the Atlantic and Pacific. These innovations enhance our premium offerings, providing even more reasons for customers to choose United, and positioning our airline for growth in the next decade.”

Nocella added, “We are always striving to set ourselves apart from other airlines, and we’re confident this elevated experience will take international travel to new heights.”
