Railbookers is introducing a new VIP experience, granting travelers exclusive after-hours access to the Vatican Museums in Rome.
On September 8, 2025, a limited number of guests will have the rare opportunity to explore the Vatican Museums for two hours after it closes to the public. Attendees will be able to admire iconic works, including Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel ceiling, without the usual crowds. The evening will conclude with a traditional Italian apericena.
“We’re excited to offer this unique experience, allowing guests to enjoy one of the world’s most famous landmarks in a calm and private setting,” said Frank Marini, president and CEO of Railbookers Group. “Visiting the Vatican after hours, away from the crowds, is a truly memorable experience that should not be missed.”
Travelers can secure a spot for this special event by booking one of three new itineraries: Masterpieces by Rail: London to Rome with Vatican Access, Rome, Naples & Sorrento with Exclusive Vatican Experience, or Venice, Florence & Rome with After-Hours Vatican Access.
Each itinerary includes luxury five-star accommodations, private and small-group tours, private transfers, and first-class rail travel between cities.
