LATAM Airlines is set to introduce a new flight route connecting South America to the United States this winter. Starting in December 2025, the airline will operate daily, year-round flights between Buenos Aires (EZE) and Miami International Airport (MIA).
The nearly nine-hour flight covers a distance of 4,405 miles and will be serviced by Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. LATAM has recently announced the addition of new business class suites on its Dreamliner planes, but it is unclear whether these suites will be available on the Buenos Aires-Miami route.
The southbound flight from Miami to Buenos Aires will depart daily at 10:15 p.m., arriving at 8:55 a.m. the following day. The return flight will leave Buenos Aires daily at 10:55 a.m., landing in Miami at 5:50 p.m.
LATAM’s move to resume this route follows an increase in demand for travel between the two cities. Delta Air Lines, which partners with LATAM through a joint venture, is also expanding its services to Buenos Aires, with new flights from Atlanta starting this fall. LATAM had previously operated the Miami-Buenos Aires route through a subsidiary until 2020, and the airline is now bringing it back to cater to growing passenger demand.
