Hunter Travel Group (HTG) has launched a new leisure travel platform, developed by global technology provider Vibe. The platform is designed to enhance the travel booking experience for Australian users by combining local market insights with cutting-edge technology.
The new platform, now live, offers a modern and seamless user experience, showcasing curated tours and experiences. It is integrated with Vibe’s technology and Tour Atlas, ensuring a smooth and efficient booking process.
HTG’s new digital platform reflects the company’s deep understanding of what Australian travelers value – convenience, inspiration, and affordability – all supported by Vibe’s scalable and flexible technology solutions.
Brett Dann, CEO of HTG, emphasized the importance of the partnership with Vibe in advancing their digital strategy. “The platform is scalable, future-proof, and, most importantly, designed to meet the changing needs of our customers and members across Australia,” he said.
Expanding the Partnership
As part of the broader collaboration, Vibe has also provided a new travel platform for the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland (RACQ), one of Australia’s most trusted membership organizations, which is operated by HTG. The newly launched website offers RACQ members a streamlined and cost-effective booking experience, including member verification and access to exclusive discounts.
Other HTG brands, such as RACT Travel and Cruise Travel Centre, will also benefit from the same innovative platform as part of their digital transformation.
Martin Eade, Chief Commercial Officer at Vibe, expressed satisfaction with the partnership. “Working with the HTG team has been a pleasure. Their clear vision, especially regarding travel products, helped us align the right technology with the right objectives. The result is a user-focused platform that sets a new standard for leisure travel in Australia. Our collaboration with RACQ Travel further highlights the success of this partnership.”
Hunter Travel Group, based in Newcastle, New South Wales, is one of Australia’s largest privately owned travel agency groups. It also operates the Royal Automobile Clubs of Queensland and Tasmania.
