Tourism Noosa has launched its 2025 Winter Campaign, promoting the region as the perfect cold-weather getaway. The campaign, under the existing “The Sweet Life in Noosa” brand, highlights the area’s natural beauty, laid-back luxury, and local experiences through a new destination video.
The initiative aims to attract domestic travelers and New Zealand visitors looking for a winter escape combining nature, lifestyle, and relaxation—key aspects of Noosa’s appeal.
Connecting with Key Markets
Helen Mitchell, Tourism Noosa’s Destination Marketing Manager, said the campaign reinforces Noosa’s reputation as a top winter destination.
“We’re targeting high-value travelers in New South Wales, Victoria, South-East Queensland, and New Zealand,” Mitchell said. “Through digital, print, and TV partnerships, we’re showcasing why Noosa offers the ultimate winter experience.”

- Regional media coverage via Explore, appearing in 14 newspapers across NSW, Victoria, Tasmania, and the ACT

- A dedicated Noosa feature on Channel Seven’s The Weekender
- TV and digital ads on Nine Now
- Promotions across Visit Noosa’s digital and social media platforms
Boosting New Zealand Visibility
New Zealand remains Noosa’s top international market, now with year-round direct Jetstar flights from Auckland to the Sunshine Coast.
To strengthen its trans-Tasman appeal, Tourism Noosa has partnered with Sunshine Coast Airport and Jetstar for a unique marketing push. This includes branding inside a Jetstar A320 aircraft’s overhead lockers and targeted promotions in Auckland.
The campaign’s centerpiece is a destination video showcasing Noosa’s beaches, rivers, hinterland adventures, and luxury stays—proving winter in Noosa is just as enticing.
