Air Canada has extended its seasonal summer service between Dublin and Vancouver, offering more flights than initially planned.
The airline, which operates nearly 50 routes between Europe and Canada this summer, will run up to five flights per week on the Dublin-Vancouver route until October 24.
The expansion follows Dublin Airport’s temporary suspension of its passenger cap, which allowed Air Canada to extend its operations beyond the originally planned summer months of June to September.
Bláithín O’Donnell, Air Canada’s sales manager for Ireland, expressed excitement about the extended service. “We’re thrilled to expand our service between Dublin and Vancouver this summer to meet the growing demand for travel to Canada,” she said.
O’Donnell also noted that the airline had been gradually increasing capacity in response to customer demand and aimed to further strengthen its commitment to the market by increasing frequencies through autumn.
The Dublin-Vancouver route will be serviced by Air Canada’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, featuring Signature Class, premium economy, and economy cabins.
