IHG’s upscale “lifestyle” brand, Kimpton, has officially launched its first property in Germany, located in the heart of Frankfurt’s financial district.
The new hotel, Kimpton Main Frankfurt, is situated in the former offices of Deutsche Bank and is part of the larger Four Frankfurt development.
The 155-room hotel boasts a rooftop bar, a brasserie-style restaurant, and the May cocktail lounge for guests to enjoy.
Originally founded in the U.S. in 1981, Kimpton was acquired by IHG for $430 million in 2014. The brand already operates hotels in major European cities, including London, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Barcelona, and Paris, with future expansions planned in Marbella, Spain, and Portugal’s Algarve region.
