KlasJet, a private jet charter company part of Avia Solutions Group, has extended its operations to Milan, responding to growing demand in the European market.
The company selected Milan for its strategic location and proximity to major elite sports events. Milan’s position allows for easy access to other European hubs, making it a prime destination for VIP charter services.
The demand for private jet flights in Europe has been rising steadily, with forecasts predicting a 9.89% annual growth rate until the end of the decade. This trend is particularly strong during the summer months when people travel for holidays and major sports events.
Italy, hosting prestigious Formula One and MotoGP events, is a hotspot for this demand. KlasJet’s sales development manager, Valeria Prilipko, noted that Milan’s central location and its popularity with businesses, elite sports teams, and cultural events make it an ideal choice for the company’s new services.
“Milan offers great geographic benefits for both domestic and international travel,” Prilipko explained. “It provides quick access to major European cities and is a hub for business, sports, and cultural activities. This makes Milan an essential location for KlasJet operations.”
To meet this demand, KlasJet will use its Boeing 737-300, a 68-seat business-class aircraft with a luxurious interior. Each flight will have a dedicated technician to ensure top-level reliability.
KlasJet has already secured contracts with several top sports teams, who prefer chartered flights for their time-saving benefits and added comfort. Charter flights eliminate long queues and security checks, while providing more space and premium services such as catering and porter services.
“We’ve organized flights for Tour de France fans who traveled alongside the cyclists, and we plan to offer similar packages for motorsports events,” Prilipko added. “For Formula 1, we can arrange a dedicated travel route for fans attending different race stages.”
Clients traveling to and from Milan can also enjoy an Italian touch to their journey, with Mediterranean-inspired dishes prepared by a Michelin-starred chef.
