Emirates and The Bahamas have entered into a partnership to promote the Caribbean island’s tourism and trade industries. The agreement was formalized with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the Arabian Travel Market 2025 in Dubai.
Through this collaboration, both Emirates and The Bahamas will launch joint promotional campaigns aimed at attracting tourists to the island. The campaign will focus on key markets to benefit both the airline and The Bahamas, showcasing the island’s attractions to holidaymakers.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Bahamas will support Emirates’ efforts by offering promotional materials, special packages, incentives, and marketing funds to tour operators and travel agents in target markets across Emirates’ network.
The MoU is expected to be mutually beneficial, helping both parties expand their reach.
Emirates Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, emphasized the airline’s commitment to supporting The Bahamas’ tourism goals. “By joining forces, Emirates aims to contribute to the growth of the Bahamas’ tourism economy,” he said.
Kazim also pointed out that Emirates’ existing connections to 14 cities in the US and Canada, combined with its partnerships with United Airlines and Air Canada, would help improve travel connectivity to The Bahamas. These partnerships will make it easier for travelers from North America to reach Nassau.
Tony Joudi, Ambassador of The Bahamas to the UAE, also highlighted the importance of the collaboration. He said, “This partnership demonstrates a shared commitment to improving The Bahamas’ global connectivity and tourism appeal, which will contribute to the country’s economic growth and international reputation.”
