Luxury hospitality group Resplendent Ceylon has launched a new travel package, the ‘Private Escape Offer,’ at its Ceylon Tea Trails resort in Sri Lanka’s Central Highlands. The offer invites guests to enjoy an all-inclusive, private retreat surrounded by the island’s picturesque tea country.
Set amid misty mountains, green tea plantations, and peaceful lakes, Ceylon Tea Trails offers a unique escape in the heart of Sri Lanka. The retreat blends natural beauty, warm hospitality, and cultural charm to provide a memorable luxury experience.
The Private Escape Offer is available until 19 December 2025. Guests can book an entire five-bedroom bungalow for US$4,835 (approximately AU$7,571) per night. The price covers up to six people and includes all meals and beverages, a private chef, a personal butler, a tour of the Dunkeld Tea Factory, and a one-way scenic seaplane transfer for a smooth and stylish arrival.
Larger groups are welcome. Extra guests can be added at US$303 (around AU$474) per adult and US$120 (around AU$187) per child per night. This makes the offer ideal for extended families or groups of friends seeking a shared experience.
The package also includes access to the Junior Tea Planter programme. This hands-on activity is designed for children and introduces them to tea-making, from picking leaves to brewing a cup.
Ceylon Tea Trails is the world’s first tea bungalow resort. It is located on the working estates of Sri Lanka’s top tea producer, which is also part of a UNESCO World Heritage site. The resort gives guests a chance to connect with Sri Lanka’s tea heritage while enjoying the premium service Resplendent Ceylon is known for.
Malik Fernando, chair of Resplendent Ceylon, said, “We restored these historic tea planter bungalows to blend old-world charm with modern luxury. Our goal is to offer an authentic and intimate experience that celebrates the beauty and tradition of Sri Lanka’s tea country.”
Whether it’s for a special celebration or a quiet getaway, the team at Resplendent Ceylon promises tailored experiences, from gourmet dining to personalised excursions, ensuring every stay is unforgettable.
