Dusit Hotels to Open Dusit Le Palais Hanoi in May 2025

by Alice

Dusit Hotels and Resorts, part of Dusit International, has announced the upcoming opening of its new hotel, Dusit Le Palais Tu Hoa Hanoi, set to welcome guests starting 9 May 2025. The hotel will be located in the heart of Hanoi, on the peaceful shores of West Lake.

This marks Dusit’s debut in Hanoi, and its second hotel in Vietnam, following the success of Dusit Princess Moonrise Beach Resort in Phu Quoc. The new property will bring Dusit’s signature Thai-inspired hospitality to the serene West Lake, combining modern luxury with the timeless charm of Vietnamese culture.

The hotel’s design draws inspiration from Princess Từ Hoa, a royal figure who made significant contributions to the silk industry in the Nghi Tàm area near West Lake. As the daughter of Emperor Lý Thần Tông, who ruled from 1128 to 1138, Princess Từ Hoa left the royal court to cultivate mulberry trees and teach silk weaving to the local people. Her legacy is still seen today in the area’s craftsmanship, and this spirit of cultural pride is reflected in the design of Dusit Le Palais Tu Hoa Hanoi.

The hotel will feature 207 rooms and suites, each offering panoramic views of the lake or city skyline. The rooms will blend modern comforts with subtle Vietnamese design elements, all complemented by Dusit’s renowned warm hospitality.

Guests will be able to enjoy a range of dining options that highlight both local and international flavors. Soi Restaurant will offer authentic Thai cuisine, while Vinci Italian Restaurant and Rooftop Bar will serve refined Italian dishes with stunning city views. Phở Lụa will offer a cozy outdoor setting for Vietnam’s famous noodle soup, and Dusit Gourmet will provide artisanal pastries, afternoon tea, and freshly brewed coffee. The hotel will also include four private dining rooms for exclusive gatherings.

For those looking to relax or stay active, the hotel will offer a fully equipped gym and spaces for wellness activities. It will also feature three grand ballrooms and a rooftop event space, ideal for weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings.

“We are excited to expand our presence in Vietnam and introduce Dusit’s unique Thai-inspired hospitality to Hanoi,” said Gilles Cretallaz, Chief Operating Officer of Dusit International. “Dusit Le Palais Tu Hoa Hanoi is not just a hotel; it is a tribute to cultural heritage and artistic spirit. We aim to create meaningful experiences that connect our guests with the local community while showcasing the beauty of both Vietnamese tradition and Thai warmth.”

The hotel is conveniently located on Au Co Street, just 20 minutes by car from Noi Bai International Airport, offering easy access to many of the city’s cultural landmarks and attractions.
