The Thailand International Boat Show will return for its fourth edition at Phuket Yacht Haven Marina from January 15 to 18, 2026. Located in northern Phuket, the marina is one of Southeast Asia’s top superyacht hubs, offering ample space to support the event’s future growth.
David Hayes, CEO of JAND Events, the organizers of the show, expressed excitement about the venue choice. “We are excited to announce Phuket Yacht Haven Marina as the official location for the 2026 Thailand International Boat Show. This venue perfectly matches our goal of positioning Thailand as not only a world-class travel destination but also as the leading hub for luxury maritime lifestyle in Asia,” he said.
The Thailand International Boat Show has become a key platform for promoting Thailand’s marine industry globally. Organizers report that the event generates at least 1 billion baht annually for the country’s yachting sector.
Southeast Asia is increasingly recognized as an important yachting destination, alongside traditional spots like the Caribbean and Mediterranean. Thailand stands out in the region due to its award-winning marinas, extensive marine infrastructure, and exceptional hospitality. The country’s scenic cruising areas in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand further enhance its appeal.
Benjamin Tabuteau, Vice President of the Thai Yachting Business Association, highlighted the growth of Thailand’s marine industry. “Yachting in Thailand is growing. The industry is expanding by about 10% each year, covering boat sales, berthing, maintenance, provisioning, and chartering. As more people discover the beauty of coastal destinations like Phuket, Krabi, Samui, and Pattaya — alongside our top-tier marine infrastructure — we expect even more growth in the future.”
The 2026 event will feature over 70 sail and motor yachts, expanded superyacht displays, and exhibits of marine technologies, water toys, and sustainable innovations. The show will also showcase luxury lifestyle products, including real estate, automotive brands, and fine dining.
To complement the event, the Thailand Yachting Conference will be held on January 14, 2026. This conference will bring together industry leaders, government officials, and experts to discuss the latest trends, regulations, and opportunities within the yachting sector.
Organizers anticipate strong international participation from both exhibitors and visitors, further cementing Thailand’s status as a year-round destination for yachting, investment, and tourism.
