Partnership Travel Consulting (PTC) has teamed up with corporate data capture provider Traxo to enhance the scope of its Fare Audit services. This new partnership will enable PTC to audit airfares for off-channel bookings using Traxo’s technology.
Under the agreement, buyers can approve the automatic flow of their booking data between Traxo and PTC in nearly real-time. This collaboration allows PTC’s Fare Audit division, which it acquired earlier this year, to audit both managed and unmanaged bookings, giving companies a more complete picture of their airfare spending.
The audit process will compare fares from the same flight, checking if the booked fare aligns with the lowest available option within the company’s travel policy. Corporations can also extend the audit to include alternative flights that comply with their travel policies.
Andy Menkes, founder and CEO of PTC and president of Fare Audit, emphasized that this partnership would ensure every transaction is reviewed. “With access to off-channel bookings, we will ensure that no transaction goes unaudited, helping clients uncover missed savings and reduce policy leakage,” he said.
Looking ahead, PTC and Traxo plan to broaden their auditing services to include hotel rates, a more complex area currently being developed for future updates.
Traxo’s CEO, Andres Fabris, highlighted the importance of adapting to the evolving corporate travel landscape. “We’re excited to partner with PTC’s Fare Audit division to bring more transparency and accuracy to fare auditing,” Fabris said. “This collaboration empowers companies to audit all travel activity, not just through traditional channels, unlocking new savings, compliance, and a better overall experience for travelers.”
