Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has officially launched the Fairmont Golden Prague, marking the brand’s entry into the Czech capital. The new luxury hotel is located in Prague’s Old Town, a district known for its rich history and charm. The property is housed in a 1970s Brutalist-style building, recently restored through a multimillion-dollar renovation.
The hotel offers 320 accommodations, including guest rooms, suites, and serviced residences. Guests can enjoy a variety of dining experiences at four distinct venues. These include Zlata Praha, a rooftop fine-dining restaurant; Golden Eye, which serves modern Asian cuisine; Coocoo’s Nest, a casual lobby restaurant; and Greenhouse, which focuses on beer and light snacks.
One of the key highlights is the Fairmont Gold experience — the brand’s exclusive “hotel-within-a-hotel” concept. Guests who book Fairmont Gold rooms receive additional perks such as private check-in and access to the Fairmont Gold Lounge. The lounge serves complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, evening canapés, a late-night dessert buffet, and includes an honor bar.
The property also boasts extensive wellness and event facilities. The Fairmont Spa & Wellness center spans 15,000 square feet, offering a wide range of treatments and services. For meetings and events, the hotel features a 6,500-square-foot ballroom and three rooftop boardrooms, each with a private terrace.
With its prime location, luxury amenities, and modern design, the Fairmont Golden Prague aims to set a new standard for hospitality in the city.
