Swissôtel has officially launched its Swissôtel Living brand in Asia with the opening of Swissôtel Living Jakarta Mega Kuningan.
The project, developed in collaboration with PT Tokyu Land Indonesia, brings together minimalist Japanese design and classic Swiss elegance. It reflects both companies’ shared vision for modern urban living.
Garth Simmons, Accor’s Chief Operating Officer for Asia (Premium, Midscale & Economy brands), said the launch is a key step in the group’s expansion across Asia. He added that it also strengthens Accor’s presence in Indonesia’s growing hospitality market.
“As demand for high-quality extended stays increases, we’re excited to introduce Swissôtel Living. This brand offers a unique combination of Swiss sophistication, modern design, and wellness-focused living,” Simmons said. “Our partnership with PT Tokyu Land Indonesia helps us offer world-class service while redefining urban living. This also supports Jakarta’s role as a top destination for global travellers.”
Swissôtel Living Jakarta Mega Kuningan is located in the Mega Kuningan business district. It features 240 serviced apartments designed for both long- and short-term stays. The apartments range from studios to one- and two-bedroom units. Each residence includes a full kitchen, a spacious living room, in-room laundry facilities, high-quality Pürovel bath products, and comfortable bedrooms.
The location offers excellent road access to both Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, making it convenient for local and international guests.
The property also includes wellness facilities such as a gym, sauna, and an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by greenery. These spaces are designed to promote relaxation and well-being.
Dining is a highlight at Embers, the hotel’s all-day restaurant. It features an open kitchen and specializes in grilled dishes, all served with sweeping views of Jakarta’s skyline.
In a move towards sustainability, the property is one of the first in Indonesia to run entirely on renewable energy. This effort greatly reduces its carbon footprint and reflects a broader commitment to eco-friendly practices. The development also supports the city’s urban goals by contributing to new infrastructure, such as added bicycle lanes along Sudirman Road and upgrades to the Mega Kuningan area.
Takashi Ikeuchi, Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer at Tokyu Land Corporation, said the new property highlights the company’s focus on sustainable development and improving city living.
“This project shows our commitment to smart urban planning and environmental responsibility. We aim to make Jakarta more liveable and greener,” Ikeuchi said.
To mark the opening, Swissôtel Living Jakarta Mega Kuningan is offering a special introductory rate starting from IDR 1,888,000 (around USD 177) per night. The offer is valid for stays until 30 June 2025.
Guests who are members of ALL – Accor’s global loyalty and booking platform – can earn points during their stay. These points can be used for future hotel stays, dining, and unique experiences across Accor’s worldwide network.
