Azerbaijan’s national airline, AZAL, is expanding its summer flight schedule, adding new routes and increasing the frequency of existing ones. The move aims to meet growing demand and offer passengers more travel options during the busy season.
According to the airline, flights between Baku and Milan have been operating six times a week since April 1. Starting May 13, this route will become a daily service.
AZAL is also expanding flights to Chișinău, the capital of Moldova. In April 2025, the number of weekly flights increased to five. From early May, this will rise to six flights per week. Beginning May 12, the route will operate daily.
Tickets can be purchased through AZAL’s official website, its mobile app, ticket offices, or accredited travel agents.
The airline’s press service told Caliber.Az that starting in May, more flights will also be available from Baku to several destinations, including Antalya and Trabzon in Türkiye, Astana in Kazakhstan, Milan in Italy, and Chișinău in Moldova.
The Baku–Antalya route will see four additional flights each week from May 1, making the service available daily. From May 12, the number of flights to Trabzon will increase to five per week.
AZAL is also adding one more flight to the Baku–Astana route starting May 12. This will bring the total number of weekly flights to four.
The expanded schedule highlights AZAL’s commitment to improving regional connectivity and making travel more convenient for passengers.
