To help meet growing international demand, the Croatian National Tourist Board (CNTB) has introduced a new online training program for travel professionals. This initiative, aimed at preparing advisors for what is expected to be one of Croatia’s busiest summer tourism seasons, features the Croatia Full of Life Certificate program. The five-part webinar series is designed to enhance knowledge about Croatia’s attractions, regions, accommodations, sustainability efforts, and cultural experiences. Advisors who complete the training and pass an online quiz will earn official certification, enabling them to better serve clients as Croatia continues to expand its international reach.
Strengthening Expertise for Global Travel Advisors
In a strategic move to empower travel professionals worldwide, the CNTB has launched the Croatia Full of Life Certificate for 2025. The online program offers insights into Croatia’s tourism offerings, helping advisors deepen their understanding of the destination. As Croatia’s global connectivity grows and demand for travel rises, this initiative aims to raise the profile of the country’s tourism sector among international professionals.
The training process provides a comprehensive look at Croatia’s tourism landscape, covering key destinations, sustainable practices, and unique experiences found only in Croatia. Travel advisors who complete the program and pass the final exam will receive the title of “Croatia Full of Life Specialist”, certifying them as ambassadors of Croatian travel experiences.
A More Accessible Croatia
As the summer of 2025 approaches, Croatia is making itself more accessible than ever. Direct flights from 122 cities in 42 countries, operated by 57 international airlines, are boosting Croatia’s popularity as a high-demand destination. This growing air connectivity aligns perfectly with the launch of the certification program, which equips travel advisors with expert-level knowledge to cater to a wider range of clients.
Program Details: A Five-Part Webinar Series
The Croatia Full of Life Certificate program consists of a five-part interactive webinar series. Each module covers a specific aspect of Croatia’s tourism sector.
Here’s a look at the five core topics:
Destinations Across Croatia
This module provides an overview of Croatia’s regions, from the vibrant capital Zagreb to the scenic islands like Hvar and Brač. Advisors learn how to recommend destinations based on clients’ interests, whether it’s cultural exploration, culinary adventures, or seaside relaxation.
Top Attractions and Landmarks
This session explores Croatia’s most famous landmarks, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Diocletian’s Palace in Split, Plitvice Lakes, and Dubrovnik’s Old Town. Advisors will understand what makes these attractions popular and how to highlight them for travelers.
Accommodations and Lodging Styles
From boutique hotels to eco-friendly accommodations, this module covers Croatia’s diverse lodging options. It also provides updates on new hotel openings and unique places to stay, offering more choices for travelers seeking different experiences.
Sustainable Tourism Initiatives
With sustainability becoming a priority for many travelers, this session highlights Croatia’s eco-certifications, green tourism zones, and environmental policies. Advisors are trained to promote responsible travel and environmentally friendly tourism options within the country.
Curated Experiences and Local Culture
The final module focuses on the unique experiences Croatia offers, from wine-tasting tours in Pelješac to sailing along the Adriatic coast. Advisors will learn how to create personalized itineraries based on the diverse cultural and outdoor activities available throughout the country.
Certification and Recognition
After completing the webinars, participants must pass an online quiz to test their knowledge. Those who pass the quiz will become certified Croatia Full of Life Specialists.
This certification not only adds a prestigious credential to an advisor’s portfolio but also opens up opportunities for future Fam trips, media features, and collaboration with the tourism board. Certified specialists gain an advantage in gaining client trust and boosting bookings for Croatia.
