The premium cruise line’s 1,250-guest Riviera will debut in Australian and New Zealand waters for the 2025-2026 season, marking the brand’s first dedicated culinary-focused itineraries in the region. From November 2025 through March 2026, food-loving travelers can explore the South Pacific’s gastronomic treasures aboard the intimate vessel.
Culinary-Centric Itineraries
Riviera will offer 14 to 35-day sailings featuring:
- Chef-led market tours and farm visits
- Specialized food excursions like truffle hunting
- Opportunities to sample local specialties from Sydney rock oysters to Marlborough wines
Ports of call balance iconic destinations with hidden gems, including Kangaroo Island’s wildlife encounters and Vanuatu’s untouched Mystery Island. The ship’s smaller size allows access to boutique ports larger vessels can’t reach.
Immersive Regional Experiences
Oceania’s Chief Luxury Officer Jason Montague emphasized the line’s commitment to authentic cultural connections. “These voyages let travelers taste their way through Australasia while enjoying our signature luxury,” he said. Hundreds of shore excursions will showcase each destination’s unique character through local perspectives.
