Windstar Cruises has introduced a new honeymoon package in partnership with luxury resorts Sea Island and The Broadmoor.
Couples who tie the knot at either Sea Island in Georgia or The Broadmoor in Colorado can now enjoy discounted rates on a romantic, seven-night Windstar cruise through French Polynesia.
“Windstar has been sailing in Tahiti for 36 years, and no other cruise line knows the islands as well as we do,” said Christopher Prelog, president of Windstar Cruises. “We are honored to collaborate with Sea Island and The Broadmoor to provide newlyweds with a seamless transition from their dream wedding to an unforgettable honeymoon aboard our intimate, yacht-style ships, where every detail is designed for romance.”
Windstar Cruises and the two resorts are part of Xanterra Travel Collection, a company owned by Colorado-based billionaire Phil Anschutz. Windstar already features suites inspired by Sea Island and The Broadmoor on several of its ships, designed in collaboration with the resorts.
“Our goal is to create lifelong memories for our guests, and this new honeymoon offering makes the journey even more special,” said Jack Damioli, president and CEO of The Broadmoor. “Newlyweds can celebrate their marriage in two of the most beautiful destinations in the world—from the grandeur of The Broadmoor to the secluded paradise of French Polynesia.”
The honeymoon package includes a seven-night cruise in a balcony suite for two, with complimentary WiFi, gratuities, and beverages. Guests can also add romantic extras such as breakfast in bed, chocolate-covered strawberries, fresh flowers, and $500 in onboard credits.
The package is available for peak-season cruises from July 1 to September 30 at $11,000 per couple and for off-season cruises from October 1 to June 30 at $7,000 per couple. Couples can also transfer the value to another Windstar cruise, though they would need to cover any price difference.
