British Airways is celebrating 65 years of flying between Toronto and London with a limited-time discount on flights. Since 1960, the airline has provided direct service between the two cities, and to commemorate this milestone, it is offering special savings on select fares.
From March 4 to March 11, 2025, customers booking flights on ba.com can enjoy discounts of $65 on World Traveller Plus (premium economy) tickets, $30 on World Traveller (economy) tickets, and $150 on Club World (business) tickets. These offers apply to travel between March and May 2025.
The promotion also includes discounted fares to some European destinations.
“We hope our customers take advantage of this special sapphire anniversary offer, whether they are visiting family, traveling for work, or planning a sightseeing trip to Europe. This anniversary reflects our long-standing commitment to the region, and we look forward to continuing our service to Canadian travelers for many more years,” said a British Airways spokesperson.
In addition to the flight discounts, Toronto Pearson International Airport is celebrating the occasion with a British-themed menu at the Ice Bar throughout March. Travelers will get a taste of the UK before their flights, and British Airways passengers can use a $5 coupon for their meals during the first week of March.
“We are thrilled to celebrate this significant milestone with British Airways,” said Kurush Minocher, Interim Chief Commercial Officer at Toronto Pearson. “For over 60 years, British Airways has been connecting passengers between Toronto and the UK. We are proud of our ongoing partnership, serving nearly 400,000 travelers annually.”
