Reflections Holidays has grown its wilderness camping operations in New South Wales (NSW), managing 41 holiday parks, with the addition of Reflections Tumut River.
Located in the Riverina region, at the base of the stunning Snowy Mountains, the popular Tumut holiday park was previously known as Riverglade Holiday Park. It is now under the management of Reflections Holidays, a Crown land manager.
Nick Baker, CEO of Reflections, explained, “We already manage beautiful holiday parks at Burrinjuck Waters and Wee Jasper, which, like Tumut, are linked to the Hume and Hovell Track. Our goal is to encourage visitors to explore these three stunning destinations.”
Reflections Holidays focuses on connecting people with nature, believing that “life’s better outside.” Tumut, like Burrinjuck Waters and Wee Jasper, offers a perfect wilderness retreat with activities such as hiking, fishing, and mountain biking.
Baker also shared excitement about Reflections’ strong presence in the region and its plans to engage the Tumut community. He emphasized the potential for more tourists to explore the area’s natural beauty.
The Snowy Mountains offer a wealth of outdoor adventures, including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and a vibrant food and wine scene. With the addition of Tumut River, Reflections’ portfolio now includes 41 holiday parks and 47 nature reserves on Crown Land, covering nearly 10,000 hectares.
As the largest holiday park group in NSW, Reflections reinvests its profits into the parks it operates and the reserves it manages. The company estimates that its new Tumut River operations will contribute about $1.2 million annually to the local tourism economy.
On March 6, Reflections hosted a workshop with the Tumut community and local businesses to assess the social impact of its parks and better understand how they contribute to regional economies and community well-being.
Reflections Holidays is also the only certified social enterprise holiday park group in Australia.
