Khiri Travel is set to showcase its latest offerings at ITB Berlin from March 4 to 6, featuring a new lineup of sensory urban day tours across Southeast Asia and multi-day colonial-themed tours highlighting 19th-century mansions and heritage hotels.
Sensory Urban Day Tours
The sensory urban day tours are now available in five countries: Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Laos, the Philippines, and Myanmar will be added soon. These private, guided tours are designed to engage all five senses. Travelers can witness stunning sunsets from golden stupas, smell fresh turmeric while preparing herbal drinks, listen to traditional Balinese gamelan or Sri Lankan baila music, savor Asia’s diverse flavors, and relax with a massage or yoga session.
Colonial Heritage Tours
Khiri Travel has also introduced a series of heritage and history tours, lasting nine to 13 days, in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Laos, with Myanmar to follow. These tours focus on colonial-era mansions, antique decor, and grand estates tied to historical figures like Henri Mouhot and Francis Garnier.
Travelers will stay at heritage buildings converted into luxury hotels, such as The Phoenix Hotel in Yogyakarta, Azerai La Residence in Hue, 137 Pillars in Chiang Mai, and Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan. The tours also include expert insights from historians like Francis Engelmann in Luang Prabang and Rehahn, an acclaimed photographer specializing in Vietnam’s ethnic groups, in Hoi An.
“Whether you’re an architecture enthusiast, a history lover, or simply seeking a journey through time, our colonial heritage tours offer a deep connection to the elegance and timeless beauty of Asia’s past,” said Sofia Tan, Group Product Coordinator at Khiri Travel.
Enhanced Agent Hub
Khiri Travel has updated its online Agent Hub with detailed information on the sensory and colonial tours. The upgraded platform will soft launch at ITB Berlin. Agents can access sample itineraries, a photo gallery, and promotional materials to market Khiri’s specialized tours effectively.
With these new offerings, Khiri Travel continues to position itself as a leading destination management company, blending immersive experiences with rich historical narratives for travelers seeking unique adventures in Southeast Asia.
