The Meliá Phu Quoc Forest Bay resort will cover 21 hectares along a 700-meter stretch of beach. It will be part of the Bai Thom master plan, which spans 173 hectares in Northern Phu Quoc. The development will occur in two phases. The first phase, expected to open in 2028, will include around 128 luxury villas and 130 hotel rooms. Phase two, set for completion in 2030, will add another 108 villas, bringing the total room count to 773.

The resort’s villas will range from 2 to 5 bedrooms, each with a private pool. Guests will enjoy a variety of dining options, an oceanfront swimming pool, wellness facilities including a gym and luxury spa, a kids club, and event spaces for weddings, conferences, and large-scale gatherings.

Ignacio Martin, APAC management director of Meliá Hotels International, highlighted the appeal of Phu Quoc: “With its white sandy beaches and lush national parks, Phu Quoc is becoming an increasingly popular destination for travelers seeking new experiences in Vietnam.”

With this collaboration, Meliá Phu Quoc Forest Bay is set to become a symbol of luxury resort living on Phu Quoc Island, contributing to the area’s growing tourism industry.
