HK Express has announced the return of its seasonal direct flights to Miyako (Shimojishima), Japan, starting June 27, 2025. The flights will run four times a week until October 24, 2025, providing an easy connection between Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) and Shimojishima Airport (SHI).
With this new service, HK Express becomes the only airline offering non-stop flights between Hong Kong and Miyako, joining its existing routes to Naha and Ishigaki. The airline is now the exclusive carrier linking Hong Kong to all three major airports in Okinawa, reinforcing its position as a key gateway to Japan’s southern islands.
Whether travelers are drawn to the serene beaches of Miyako Island, the natural beauty of Ishigaki, or the cultural charm of Naha, HK Express offers flexible travel options to meet different preferences. The airline also provides seamless connections to over 10 destinations across Japan, allowing passengers to easily customize their trips.
To celebrate the relaunch, HK Express is offering a limited-time promotion on its Okinawa routes. From 11:00 AM to 11:45 PM on February 26, 2025, travelers can book round-trip flights to Miyako (Shimojishima), Ishigaki, and Naha starting at just HK$296* (Lite fares, which include one small personal item and one cabin bag).
