Cathay has been named the exclusive “Founding Travel Partner” of Kai Tak Sports Park (KTSP), marking a significant collaboration aimed at promoting sports, arts, and culture in Hong Kong. The partnership will also help to highlight major events that put Hong Kong on the global stage.
The announcement of this partnership took place on Monday, February 24, at the Health and Wellness Centre at Kai Tak Sports Park.
As part of this strategic alliance, Cathay and KTSP will introduce the first aviation-themed immersive experience in the Greater Bay Area. This experience will feature the Cathay-branded West Bridge, which will connect the Sung Wong Toi MTR station to Kai Tak Stadium. This initiative is designed to engage the local community and remind people of Cathay’s historic journey from its early days.
Cathay is also sponsoring projects such as “Rong Rong Square” and “Veni, Vidi, Vici” to further enhance the visitor experience at the park.
Additionally, Cathay is excited to support the upcoming Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens, which will be held at KTSP for the first time from March 28 to March 30.
