Yamaha Motor Europe’s Finnish branch has partnered with Kultaranta Resort to introduce Finland’s first “Destination Yamaha Motor” in the Archipelago Sea. This initiative aims to boost boating and fishing tourism by offering visitors access to fully equipped Buster fishing boats powered by Yamaha’s latest outboard motors.
The “Destination Yamaha Motor” concept, already popular in Europe, North America, and Asia, combines Yamaha’s range of products—including motorcycles, outboards, ATVs, personal watercraft, and electric bikes—with immersive nature and travel experiences. The Archipelago Sea location will focus on marine adventures, expert-led fishing tours, and sustainable tourism practices.
Premium Boating and Fishing Experiences
Visitors will enjoy guided fishing tours led by Jani Ollikainen, a seasoned local guide, ensuring a high-quality marine adventure. Ismo Pohjonen, Country Manager of Yamaha Motor Europe’s Finnish branch, highlighted the significance of the project:
“This is Finland’s first Destination Yamaha Motor, offering a unique opportunity to explore the Archipelago Sea’s natural beauty while experiencing the superior performance of Yamaha products.”
Boosting Archipelago Tourism
The collaboration between Yamaha Motor and Kultaranta Resort aims to enhance Southwest Finland’s tourism sector, making the Visit Turku Archipelago region more attractive to visitors. The resort will provide luxurious accommodations and dining, blending adventure with relaxation.
Jari-Pekka Rautamaa, Board Member of Kultaranta Resort, emphasized the focus on sustainability:
“We are committed to responsible tourism, ensuring our activities respect nature while promoting Finland as a world-class destination for archipelago tourism.”
With this launch, Finland joins a prestigious list of global Yamaha Destination locations, further establishing itself as a top destination for boating and fishing enthusiasts.
