The Emirates Group, a key driver of Dubai’s growth, development, and community wellbeing, has unveiled a state-of-the-art lounge at its headquarters. Named ‘Wejhaty,’ which means ‘my destination’ in Arabic, the lounge is designed to serve global candidates, new hires, employees, their families, and retirees.
The lounge was officially inaugurated by HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, in the presence of senior executives and employees. The launch underscores Dubai’s commitment to attracting, retaining, and nurturing top talent from around the world.
HH Sheikh Ahmed emphasized the Group’s vision, stating, “The Emirates Group is entering a new era of global growth, centered in Dubai. Our people are our greatest asset, and their safety, career development, and personal wellbeing remain our top priorities. Wejhaty will set new benchmarks in service excellence and employee experience.”
Spanning 22,770 square feet, Wejhaty is more than just an employee lounge. It is a dynamic space capable of accommodating 500 people at a time and up to 1,200 daily. The lounge aims to inspire and welcome visitors by reflecting the Group’s commitment to its people. It offers streamlined solutions, advanced technology, and seamless services to enhance the employee experience.
A key feature of Wejhaty is its personalized approach. Visitors are greeted and assisted by friendly concierge attendants, ensuring a supportive and welcoming environment. This focus on personal touch aligns with the Emirates Group’s reputation as a customer-centric organization.
Wejhaty represents the Group’s dedication to creating a world-class experience for its employees and their families, reinforcing its position as a global leader in aviation and hospitality.
