Cultural Exchange to Deepen Ties

Mehdi Zare Bieib, Cultural Counsellor at the Iranian Embassy in Bangkok, showcased artistic and cultural performances from the Persian era to Thai entrepreneurs and journalists. He emphasized that such cultural exchanges would help improve understanding of Iran and strengthen the longstanding diplomatic relationship between the two countries.

Bieib also highlighted key tourist destinations in Iran, including Isfahan, an ancient capital city, and Persepolis, a historic palace in Shiraz dating back thousands of years. Persepolis, once destroyed by Alexander the Great during the Persian Wars, remains a significant archaeological site.

Additionally, he mentioned Qom, a city central to Shi’a Islam and regarded as one of the most important Islamic cities globally.

The event underscored the mutual commitment of Thailand and Iran to boosting tourism and cultural ties, paving the way for deeper collaboration in the years to come.
