The Asia Pacific Incentives & Meetings Event (AIME) 2025 is gearing up to be the largest and most impactful edition yet. Scheduled for February 10-12 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), AIME will bring together global event planners, top destinations, venues, and suppliers, solidifying its reputation as the premier business events exhibition in the Asia Pacific region.
Organized by Talk2 Media and Events on behalf of the Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB), AIME 2025 will feature over 650 exhibitors, 650 invited buyers, and facilitate more than 20,000 meetings. Event Director Silke Calder highlighted the event’s growth, noting that it will surpass last year’s record-breaking numbers.
Expanding Global Reach
In a significant collaboration, AIME 2025 will co-host UFI Asia Pacific 2025, the regional conference of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. Taking place from February 13-14 at MCEC, this partnership will attract senior representatives from major global organizations, further enhancing AIME’s international profile.
Knowledge Program: “We Matter!”
The event will kick off on February 10 with the Knowledge Program, curated by BEAM founder El Kwang. The program, themed “We Matter!”, will celebrate the business events industry’s role as a driver of economic growth. Over 1,500 event professionals are expected to attend.
Keynote speakers include Gus Balbontin, former CTO of Lonely Planet, who will explore adapting to disruption and leveraging technology for transformation. Dr. Kristy Goodwin, a neuroperformance scientist, will share insights on improving performance and well-being in the digital age.
Attendees can also participate in 20 breakout sessions, covering topics such as artificial intelligence, creativity, talent development, and consumer experience. Calder emphasized that the program will deliver actionable strategies and unparalleled insights for industry professionals.
Dynamic Exhibit Hall Experience
Over two days, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with exhibitors, explore innovation zones, and engage in discussions on industry trends. With over 200 new exhibitors and two new international pavilions representing Singapore and Thailand, the event will showcase participants from nearly 30 countries.
Specialized areas like Boutiques and DMC Networking will highlight bespoke experiences, including luxury wineries and breweries. Returning features such as the Creative Academy, presented by Spice, will offer thought-provoking discussions and fresh perspectives.
Industry Networking and Celebrations
AIME Welcome, the event’s signature networking function, will provide a vibrant platform for industry professionals to reconnect and celebrate. Attendees can look forward to an evening of networking and camaraderie with colleagues from around the world.
Unparalleled Growth and Recognition
AIME continues to solidify its position as the leading business events exhibition in the Asia Pacific region. In 2024, the event facilitated an estimated $330 million in business transactions and won the Best Exhibition or Trade Show award at the Australian Event Awards for the third consecutive year.
Calder expressed excitement about the 2025 edition, stating, “AIME 2025 will redefine the standard for business events. With its expanded scope and world-class programming, it will be a landmark event in the international business events sector.”
AIME 2025 promises to deliver an unparalleled experience, fostering connections, innovation, and growth for the global business events community.
